This Model A has a build date stamped on the fuel tank reading 8/31/28. The original engine has been replaced with another model A engine that was produced in may of 1931(It might be a B engine)(has a model B oil fill pipe). It runs very well ! Brakes are in good working order as well as the Emergency brake. The car had been stored for many years in a dry building, but the gasoline sat in it for so long it turned into a thick syrup. I have ran solvents and fuel through it many times, but the tank should be removed and taken to a radiator shop and boilded out. All the lights work ok. The car needs a complete ground up restoration. A perfect car for the person who is looking for a complete original car. The interior is original but in poor condition. Original floor boards. The car drives very nice.The drum tail light is missing, but has the original bracket that is correct for the 28 models. Tail lights are available and easily found. Original paint color was a gray/green, but was painted black by others over the years. The top needs replaced as well. It is amazing to me that it has been around for so long without being torn apart. I was going to retsore this Model A, but I found another Tudor sedan that needs work, but not a complete ground up restoration as this one. Please contact me with any questions.
