You can drive this parts car home in air-conditioned splendor (but thats about the only splendor you'll enjoy in this rust bucket!) My dear deceased pappy use to say about cars like this: 'son that car isn't rusty--it's just not painted brown enough'. But he'd have been wrong about this one. This one is really rusty. How rusty? We were afraid to put in on the lift because the unibody looks so 'holy'. Same lady owner since new. She has been bringing the car to my partner's repair shop for many years. Car has had good service over the years just the midwest weather gods took their toll underneath. The unibody on this baby is swiss cheese. You can see the big holes at the back of the rear doors. Thats about what the bottom looks like. The breaks work well for driving the car home but the lines are rusty. We would not trust this car for more than getting it to your shop for pulling the parts. The good news is it is mechanically and electrically excellent: -Starts, drives, accelerates and shifts fine-No check engine lights or other service warnings-Current on Ohio E-check requirements-Has been driven by current owner till yesterday-A/C is ice cold-Cruise control works great-All electrical stuff working fine including door locks, power windows, turn signals, brake lights, etc-Front tires recently replaced, rears have 70% tread left, steel wheels and wheel covers in good shape-All doors are in fair to good shape, little rust no major dings.-Right side door mirror housing is cracked, driver's side is aftermarket replacement, works-Interior isn't exactly a hospital clean room but is decent with all seats usable, the dash is tight, all gages working, even the carpet isn't trashed. Bottom line: a great donor car for a Taurus project or use it as you personal bone yard if you have a taurus you're planning on nursing through old age. Note to Bidders: Feedback less than 10?
