    1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III  # SGT 423   ~A Super clean & mostly Original example !!! ~     The Silver Shadow is still one of the Worlds most Iconic Motorcars ever to come from the UK. This is the 3rd series of the model in which is most desirable. In 1962, Rolls-Royce officially introduced the Silver Cloud III. Major differences from its predecessor, the Series III Silver Cloud included a lowered bonnet line and quad headlights, it's 6.3 liter motor came along with a 15% increase in power brought about by a higher compression ratio and larger SU carburetors. Most of these cars were bodied with factory-built steel bodies, but there were a few sent out to custom coachbuilders for special bodies. The Silver Cloud III was unveiled with slightly updated external tweaks and a nicely remodeled interior. The weight of this newest model was reduced by almost 100 kg which resulted in boosted engine speed and slight performance. Very similar to the later Silver Shadow, the headlights were updated to a four-headlamp layout. It's was sold new by the Charles Follett Company...one of a few different Exclusive Dealers around London that specialized in Rolls Royce. Purchased by Tony Pawlak from Southern California in 1967.  It is finished in a beautiful color combo of Masons Black over Silver Sand that looks fabulous & elegant. It's Tan Leather interior is all original including it's wood trim & wool carpets. The seats have been maintained over the years & has been color treated to keep them fresh looking. It was garage kept and maintained by Mr. Pawlak. The "Fridge King" Air Conditioning system works quite well. The motor is in excellent condition running order & feels tight & smooth. The Transmission shifts perfectly for it was just freshly rebuilt & has a balance of a 1 year warranty. It is believed to have 48,000 actual miles, as per Pawlak's daughters claim. It's four power windows work very well w/no issues. It's brake system also stops well & has no issues at all. The back seat is complimented by it's fold-down Wooden picnic tables & are in excellent shape. Overall this Silver Cloud is the perfect driver & it's a late chassis & is what most people prefer.
