1999 BMW 740iL - 43K Original Miles This is a great opportunity to acquire a luxurious, perfectly maintained, and unusually low mileage 740iL! The current senior citizen owner is only the second owner (for ten and half years), this extra clean long wheelbase luxury version of BMW's flagship 7-series is equipped with almost every factory option, including the 12-way adjustable seats, Business Radio and premium DSP sound system with BMW (Pioneer) 6 disc CD changer. This vehicle has been maintained 'by the book' and comes complete with a detailed, bound set of maintenance records and receipts since new. Never any damage or accidents, and has never had a major mechanical breakdown. The spare tire has never been removed, and the factory trunk toolkit is complete and untouched. The original owner's manuals and factory sales brochures are also complete and included, as is a spare CD magazine cassette. Everything works as it should, and the following maintenance work has been completed within the last 3K miles: Regular 40K service Front and rear brakes, including new rotors, pads, and sensorsCooling system flush and hose replacement with updated/new style hoses and fittingsNew Michelin MXV4 Primacy tires with 60K mileage warranty (can include two good, low mileage tires as spares)This BMW has always been garaged, and as a result the overall cosmetic condition is very good to excellent, with several areas showing normal use and minor wear (see driver's seat left side bolster and driver's side scuff plate), several scratches in the paint (see right rear quarter panel), and a ding in the driver's door just behind the door handle (see picture). The passenger side view mirror cover has a few paint chips, and a chip-free matching paint replacement will be included should you wish to replace it. Mechanical condition is, as the detailed maintenance history shows, excellent. This vehicle rides and drives as only a 7-Series can; the iL's extended wheelbase provides not only limousine space and legroom for the lucky rear passengers, but also a limo-like ride for the driver - while still providing sporty acceleration, handling, and braking (particularly in 'Sport' mode). It is becoming very difficult now to find clean, low mileage examples of this generation of the 7-Series, and even more unusual to find one that has not only been garaged for its entire life, but has always been properly maintained and comes complete with the service history to back up the claim.
