No Reserve Auction!!!!! Up for auction is a 2003 Dodge SHC (Super High Ceiling) Sprinter Wagon. I am the second owner and have owned it for approximately 4 years. It has both a clean title as well as a clean Carfax. The van is the 140” wheelbase model and has seating for 10 passengers. These vans were sold under the Dodge brand but were manufactured by Mercedes Benz. Almost every part on the van is a Mercedes Benz part. All of the Wagons (passenger vans) were assembled in Germany. Fuel mileage is good for these vehicles considering their size. I average about 22 mpg in a mix of driving conditions. Vehicle has not been smoked in. Exterior Condition- Overall, the exterior is in very good condition. The van does have a couple of imperfections. The previous owner dented the drivers side rear door as well as put a crease in the drivers side front fender (just forward of the door). I believe the front fender crease was caused by a wind gust opening the front door abruptly (as I have seen this on other Sprinters). The paint finish is very good. It has plenty of shine and excellent reflective properties. It has been washed and waxed regularly and was recently completely detailed. The previous owner used the van in his business and had logo’s and graphics on the van. All were removed professionally but in certain light and viewing angles you can faintly see them. All glass is original and was tinted as a Dealer/Factory option. I replaced the stock 16” wheels with Ronal alloy wheels. All four tires are Michelin LTX M/S (225/75/16) and have about 50-55% tread life remaining. Interior Condition- The Interior condition is excellent. The cabin is outfitted with Driver and Passenger seats and Three benches in the rear. The seating configuration for the benches is 3-2-3. When I purchased the van, the drivers seat was worn out. I decided to upgrade the seats to a set from a 2005 van. The fabric pattern is different from the benches but the colors are a great match. The new seats were an upgrade because they have more adjustability and built in armrests. Overall- the benches are in great condition. The first row of 3 was apparently used the most by the previous owner as it shows some slight wear. Rows 2 & 3 do not appear to have been used at all and are subsequently in perfect condition. The headliner has some light staining at the front of the van and at the back of the van. These may come out with a good steam cleaning. AV- The van comes with a Kenwood KVT-532DVD Head Unit. This is capable of playing both CD’s and DVD’s. It also has the ability to output the DVD signal to an external monitor. I installed a Visio 19” HD monitor in the front of the van. The Kenwood also has inputs for (Ipod, USB, and Video in if you wanted to hook up a back-up camera). I believe the radio is also capable of connecting to both Satellite radio and Navigation. Mechanical Condition- This van runs and drives perfectly! Both the engine and transmission operate as designed. Oil Changes have been performed regularly as prescribed by the manufacturer (every 10,000 miles using full synthetic oil). The vehicle also came with the “Maintenance Monitoring System- ASSYST” option. The vehicle just had a service performed on it with the following items completed. New Serpentine belt installed, New Air, Fuel, and Cabin Filters, All new Hoses for the Turbo, New Bosch 150 Amp alternator, replaced both headlight assemblies (others were becoming hazed over). The brakes pads and rotors were replaced within the last 10,000 miles and the EGR Valve was replaced at the 72,549 miles. These vans are equipped with Timing Chains and therefore do not require replacement like a belt driven vehicle. There are no fault codes displayed or stored. I own some extensive diagnostic software that is exclusive for Sprinters. I would be happy to run a complete diagnosis for anyone interested in the van at the time of purchase. I have tried to price this van both reasonably. It is priced lower than most others that are listed. Do not be alarmed by this. I am trying to be realistic and would like to sell the van. I purchased a cargo Sprinter which is better suited for my business needs. If you bid please be prepared to buy. I have a clean title in hand and would expect any buyer to have their finances in order prior to bidding. The van is located just outside of Columbus, OH.
