Purchased 7/28/2006 with 109,000 miles. Since I pick up the car from Miami, FL try to drive to NJ then suddenly engine quite on HWY 95 near by Jacksonville, FL and towed local mechanic shop then next day towed VW dealer at Jacksonville, FL find out engine bottom has whole on it. So I brought NJ local mechanic shop who does only VW and AUDI replace used engine with 55000 miles on it same replaced timing belt water pump, etc and dual clutch which cost to me $4,500. After repair I made trip to cross country to west cost with my son when he was junior HS. I drove little over 11000 trips. Did not had single problem. Since when I had car used synthetic oil every 3,000-5,000 miles. Since I own I changed lot of parts new rack pinion, front bearing, front tie rod, front boots,new starter, alternator,new battery, with one one spend $1,200 A/C system, new compressor, new line,filter etc and new starter(life time warrenty $300), 2 years ago all new glow plugs,last year replace front and rear suspension.On 2/26/2009 timing belt broke and due all the engine head job even replace new oil pan($2,000). This 7/2012 NJ state inspection end soon. I went inspection fail the test cause by glow plug wire dried rot. The code reads P0672 and P0673. I had been ordered part and coming soon will include this auction. Also I will give to winner 8-9 oil filters, 1 air filter, full size spare tire with rim, what ever I have find this car will included. The engine cover is off because I do not use but it will go with car. This is 10 years old car there is lots of chips and F/R bumper has scratch. The glove compart hinge broke last week when I put manual books also arm rest need lock. But car is mechanically excellent condition. By the way body has over 190000 miles but engine has almost 140,000 miles. selling as is.
