Vehicle Detail
A 1977 Porsche rolling chassis. No motor, transmission or interior. The vehicle has the galvanized body. I started to strip the paint, as you can see in some of the photos, and the body is galvanized, no rust. The car was purchased as seen in photos to make a race project, which never came to pass. The car has some minor dents in the fenders but it is a great body; specifically in the passenger rear fender lip and driver's side front fender. The fenders are metal, not fiberglass. Both areas are easily repairable. The only glass is the door glass. If it is not shown in the photos it is not included. I have a Arizona title. This is a rolling chassis. The tires hold air no problem. It is steerable, but no brakes. If you are arranging transport make sure you advise of these specific issues. If you hire a transport company I can be there to assist in loading. I will only sell and ship inside the United States. I require a $500 deposit by PayPal within 48 hours close of auction. The rest of the funds can be made by certified bank check. Absolutely no personal checks or money orders. If you make full payment prior to having it picked up I will overnight the Title and bill of sale. If you arrange transport I can give them the title paperwork. If you pick it up in person, I still require the $500 deposit and the rest payable upon pick up. Payment in person must be by certified bank check or cash in U.S. dollars. On Jul-29-12 at 16:35:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a bunch of photos of the interior due to questions about the gauges, floor boards, door jams etc. The crude you see on the floorpans is the original sound deadening, almost a tar like substance. When the interior was pulled out there is still a lot of the backing, kinda like a felt material, that is still attached in places due to the adhesive. The only rust is surface rust on the driver's side rear seat pan. solid as a rock though. You can see that the door jams and rockers are solid. The interior is also dirty from it not having glass installed and it sitting in the garage. The vehicle has been inside my garage from the day the truck delivered it.
