Vehicle Detail
1962 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta Station Wagon White with split rear seat Moroccan Aqua interior (Trim# 388) 394 / 4bbl 330hp, 10.25:1 compression (engine# G318738) 4-S Hydra-Matic Transmission. Air conditioning, 6 way power seats and power antenna. Stock as a rock. This baby is pretty rare it's # 1,588 of only 3,837 ever produced. Rest assured there aren't many on the road today, It's a head turner. She runs great. I drive her 3 - 4 times a week down to the beach to check the surf. It'a gas hog, That 394 sucks it like it's going out of style, maybe 8 to10mpg - if your foots not in it! Milage says 64K but the cable is broken. The car was manufactured in South Gate, Ca. Stayed in the state until early 70's then went to Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania where I bought it and brought it back to California - where it's been for the last 6 years. Now, lets get something straight, It's not perfect. If it was you'd be paying close to $30K! It needs about $5k - $10k to get it into that category. It needs an interior. The front seat and door panels are toast (you can get the original seat material from SMS in Oregon and they will do the door panels). There are a few small dings, chips, etc. some surface rust under the rear bumper. A/C, power seats, radio and antenna don't work. The outside rear window switch goes down but not up (have to put it up from the inside switch) Power steering pump and oil pan have small leaks, other than that she's SOLID & STRAIGHT. I have all the receipts from the work I've done as well as some extra parts and trim. I also have all the information/contacts you need to get this baby to a complete Stock Resto if that's what you want. My vision was a Resto-Mod (see photos) Like a lot of you this was my baby and I had big plans for her. But S*** happens and now I need some cash to expand my business! You buy it, complete it and I'll buy it back in a few years after the business takes off! If you're in SoCal and want to come by and take her for a spin or if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.
