2001 Nissan Sentra 4 door. Good car for around town. I've had it in Southern CA near Pasadena for about 10 years. The car is dependable around town and I still drive it several times a week. Passed the CA Smog test on 6/10/2011. The car has 169,650 miles on it and I have all the maintenance records since I bought it in July of 2002. The interior is in very clean condition and has been driven by a non-smoker. Here are the known issues with the car: - After spending approx $2200 on parts and labor replacing 4 spark plugs, 1 Interstate Battery, 4 Ignition Coils, 1 Idler Pully, 1 Intake Manifold, 1 Intake Manifold Gasket, 1 Induction Manifold Gasket, and 1 Camshaft Position Sensor, my mechanic has been unable to completely fix what appears to be an occasional partial power loss problem while driving. It doesn't stall, but it almost feels like you are running out of gas for about 4 seconds and then it goes back to full power. I can take the car on the Freeway and do 70 mph, but it is really distracting when it does it's "power loss" thing. This problem has been intermittent, but it has been doing it for about a year. This car would be great for someone that likes to tinker or do diagnostic work. - The paint is really faded in several areas as you can see in the photos. I think this is a Nissan factory defect since I have seen several others on the road with the same problem. - One tire has good tread, but the other three should be replaced soon. - The A/C blows air, but I would say it is either super weak or not working right. - The windshield washer doesn't squirt anymore. - The glove compartment will sometimes fall on the floor when you open it if you are not careful. It only does this when you open it - not when you are driving. I have described the condition of the car to the best of my ability, but I do not guarantee that I have been able to cover everything.
