This 2005 Mini Cooper S is in pretty good condition. It has fairly low miles (currently just under 75,000), four new tires were put on at 58,000 and the rear brakes were done at 72,000. As long as I have owned this car, I have changed the oil and filter regularly (including a fresh change just 300 miles ago!) In addition, the car has a new waterpump, crankshaft pulley and belt. It runs great and is an incredible car for people who love to drive. The exterior is free of dings, but there are a couple minor paint flaws -- but you can see from the photos that it looks great. The black trim on the car is a little faded, though it shines up nicely with Amor All. The Mini icon on the front left wheel is missing, and there is a tiny chip on the windshield. The interior of the car is in excellent shape. The passenger and rear seats have hardly been used; the driver's seat has a place where there is a crack in the leather. This is a comfortable ride with strong A/C and blue tooth capability. The power door locks work except to unlock the driver's door; they do work to lock the door and to unlock and lock the other doors (fuel lid, rear hatch, passenger door). The only other defects are a small stain on the headliner, and the bottom hinge on the optional cupholder can pop out of place. I purchased this car two and a half years ago from a dealership in Florida. At that time it had only 39,000 miles, so I have logged about half the milage myself. The title of the car is free and clear and available for the purchaser at time of pickup It is a wonderful car to drive and I will certainly consider buying another Mini in the future. At this time, however, I've decided to sell because I am going to be working abroad for the next couple of years. The Kelly Blue Book value of this car in "good" condition is $11,567. The "Buy-it-now" price is a great chance to get this car well under book value. This auction has no reserve; at the opening bid of $8,700 (nearly 3000$ below book!) the sale is open and someone will go home with this great ride :) In terms of shipping, I would prefer buyer pick-up, though there is the possibility of some flexibility depending on buyer's location, etc. Payment should include an initial deposit of $400 via Paypal.
