2011sava2011 Store This auction is for my 1955 Packard Patrician, This car is equipped with Power steering,Power brakes,Automatic transmission, Power windows,Power Seat,Power antenna, Original tinted glass,Factory dual exhaust,signal seeking radio, All options do work except the radio, It did work when I drove the car home in 2008 but now it lights up but has no sound. This is the first year for the Packard V8, All prior models were straight 8 cylinders.The engine runs well, Transmission shifts well also,It does have an exhaust leak in the right front resonator(muffler), but the rest of the exhaust is good. The vehicle was last inspected in 2002 and had been in storage for 6 years when we purchased it, I drove it home which was about 75 miles at highway speeds without any issues,The car has been in our garage since then, Late June of this year we removed it from the garage and the brake pedal is low and the braking system will need some work,This car is a very very solid original car with a very straight body and never had any rust repair or accident damage, The car is weather beaten and the paint is wearing through and there is light surface rust starting in those areas and will need restoration or with some minor mechanical work could be used as it is, The interior is in overall fair to good condition with a tear in the drivers seat back area, The dash is nice , The headliner is stained and the carpet has seen better days, This car is truely a very solid original example the deserves someone who will preserve it, Please feel free to ask any questions or feel free to call for further information, This automobile is available for inspection at anytime during this auction by appointment, Call 570-992-5199.
