1962 Ford 2 door sedan project. It will be a SS/AFX car 1970's era street/strip. Thousands spent on chassis and running gear. Body is set on a homemade rolling JIG to work on body as well as making it movable for transport. Engine has over $9000 spent on it. Rebuilt 64 1/2 toploader. Totally new front and rear suspension. New front and rear brakes, cables and exhaust. 15x4 Keystone and front runners. 15x8 steelies with 9" slicks in the rear. Rebuilt and detailed 9" 4.56 posi axle. Rebuilt 406-427 radiator. Glass bumpers. Nostaligia tow bar brackets. NOS traction masters. New gas tank and 3/8 sending unit. New pre-bent brake and fuel lines. Modified steel hood with hi-riser hood. Nice blasted front fenders. Engine is a 390 GTA short block bored .030 speedpro pistions, 11.4 to 1 compression. 406 heads with new seats, valves, guides, dual springs and moly retainers. 1.76 ratio adjustable rockers, Smith bros pushrods, major block oiling mods. Deep pan, milodon pickup, blueprinted pump, 428 CJ oil filter adapter, diamond stripper windage tray. 406 grooved crank and 406 balancer, 427 low riser, reconned rods, ARP bolts, premium bearings and rings. 427 side oiler type cam like in the original thunderbolts. Offy dual quad intake, dual holleys, 427 style air cleaner, mallory ignition, original hi performance fuel system components, big diameter generator pulley, machined flywheel and new clutch. Beefed up clutch linkage. All missing chrome pieces for body are included hood, bullnose grill and all 4 headlight surrounds. Engine has been oil pressurized to 100psi. Clear title. No short cuts taken on this. Body is straight but needs floor and trunk work, door posts solid, doors hang well. Front clip excellent 150 hours in hood, blasted fenders, valance and inner panels.
