Vehicle Detail
This is an original, all steel truck. It cranks and runs a well as it ever did. The steering is tight and the truck "goes-down-the-road" very well. This truck came from Sterling, Kansas where it was used as a grave diggers truck (Note the coupling welded to left front fender as shovel holder). It has "STERLING CEMETERY" painted on both sides of the hood, and "Cemetery Truck" painted on body behind both doors (difficult to see, nearly faded away). Sterling Cemetery is an old cemetery with some civil war vets buried there. I rebuilt the suspension, replaced the shackles, bushings, front cross member, steering column etc. I rebuilt the brakes including the parking brakes, they all work as designed, the truck will stop. I replaced the hydraulic shocks with modern type gas shocks. Smooth ride. The truck has 4 new tires. Headlights/ taillight/brake light, horn all work. This is a good solid truck. It does have some small issues. It leaks gas if the tank is filled too high (nearly to the top). The gas tank eventually needs to be replaced or repaired, but is drivable as is. Passenger side windshield brace needs to be repaired/replaced, it is attached OK, but could be better. (goes well with the look of the truck) The original front bumper goes with it (In good Shape) Buyer responsible for shipping arrangements and associated costs. I will assist as needed. 500.00 deposit in 24 hours, remainder within the next 7 days. Check must clear before release of vehicle/title. Phone me for other details 903 824-4720 Texas CST
