For sale 1999 VW Jetta GLS Model with 103,500 miles This car was my project that I bought with slight damage from an auction and had started repairs to bring it back to life. I ran out of money when it is almost complete and need to sell AS IS to cover bills. If someone is mechanically handy or willing to put some work into the car and save some money - this is a way to go. Car runs and drives. Brakes are good, motor is good, A/C runs cold, suspension is good. Car was driven on the highway at over 75 mph tested and did not rattle or shake. Vehicle is equipped with following options: leatherCold A/CSunroofCD Player / AM/FMPower windows+ all other standard options for Jetta Please, read carefully to the condition all as described - nothing added or removed below: It has rebuild title following collision with undercarriage damage which was repaired. Car went over a curb and damaged cross member, oil pan and airbags blew because sensors were hit. All other gears shift fine. Maybe it needs more oil - Jetta's require a special tool to add transmission oil which I do not have - it might very well fix the problem - I have never seen transmissions go bad on Jetta at 100,000 milesDriver seat leather is torn and needs to be resurfaced - leather repair specialist / upholstery specialist can do for 150.00Back seat has a tire mark on it - black in color could be painted over or cleaned with chemical cleaner - rest of leather interior is in decent shapeCenter caps are missing on 3 wheels - 15.00 each from VW dealer Will need alignment - I never did it after replacing cross member - has to be doneI believe that is all accurate and nothing missed.
