North Shore Autosport Vehicle Overview 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6 Litre Cameo White Fisher TTops WS6 WS7 62,221 Original pampered miles -Original Color Combo- Cameo White with Firethorn Red Deluxe HobNail Interior -Original Numbers matching 403 Cubic inch 6.6 Litre 4 barrel Dual Exhaust Powerhouse with 3-speed automatic transmission -Heavily Factory Optioned - Factory Fisher T-Top Package - Factory A/C - WS6 Special Performance Package: consisting of larger diameter sway bars Front and rear, tighter steering box gear ratio, GR70-15 raised white letter GoodYear Polysteel Radials, 15x8 inch snowflake rims and Front Disk Brakes, (Rear discs were installed in 79 WS6 TA's until the later half of 1979 due to a supplier issue, the ones without rear discs were labeled WS7's) - Power Windows, Power antenna, Power trunk release, Tilt - Cruise Control, Sound Deadening, Lamp Group with Fogs - Electrically heated rear windshield, tachometer, - Intermittent-speed Pulse windshield wiper system. History: This vehicle has excellent history with only two registered owners since new, it spent the greater parts of its existence in a temperature controlled garage out of the elements in an affluent community outside of Grand Rapids, this car is the real deal and hard to come by! Exterior Condition: The paint is in outstanding condition with no major imperfections to mention and no rust. The exterior rubber and chrome are all in excellent original condition. All the glass is in excellent condition.. The decals are shiny and in like new condition, the grills and bumpers are in excellent condition with no dents or warping. The rear bumper has a very slight chip on the corner that has been touched up and otherwise unnoticeable and very nice. The undercarriage is super clean and solid with no rust. Interior Condition: The original firethorn hobnail interior with deluxe package is in outstanding condition and close to show quality. The seats are firm and comfortable with absolutely no sagging! There is virtually no wear on the drivers seat, the passenger and rear seats are in near perfect condition. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks and all the door trim and center trim is outstanding. The carpet is in new good condition as is the headliner. The shifter console, shifter knob and instrument console are all in like new condition. The door panels are in very nice condition as well with no imperfections to mention . Overall the interior is in outstanding original condition and very clean and comfortable. Note; All the plastic interior trim that would otherwise be in brittle poor condition has held the test of time in this particular vehicle and shows to be in near perfect condition with no fading or warping or brittleness, please inspect the pictures closely especially the details like under dash and around t tops, the interior on this trans am is superb. Note; The carpet set and radio have been replaced, otherwise this interior is as nice and original as it gets! I believe we do have the original radio on hand. Although the radio that is installed sounds and operates flawlessly. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically this car is outstanding and the mechanics may very well be the strongest point of this overall exceptional car. The 3 speed automatic transmission shifts strong and smooth in all gears. The engine in this car performs beautifully with nice power and torque and no hesitation. The engine doesn't blow any smoke whatsoever, it runs exceptionally clean, starts right up very easily and the dual exhaust sounds awesome as you should expect from a 6.6. There are no leaks in the exhaust and the car is smooth running at all speeds. The alignment is true with no pulling during braking and no excess play in the steering wheel, in fact it handles outstandingly well. The heavy duty suspension is rock solid with no sloppiness, it's tight and holds the road like it should. The brakes are strong. The tires are in great condition with about 80% tread life remaining. This car has many years of trouble free motoring to come. This car is 33 years old However I would feel very confident in this vehicle on any long road trip and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US from here. Recent maintenance includes: New Struts, poly sway bar links, Filters, Oil change, Well tuned and runs awesome! Accessories Condition: All electronics are functioning in the vehicle. The T Tops work perfectly, the headliner around the Tops is excellent. The tachometer, the speedometer and odometer are working properly.. the sound system is outstanding with a very nice sounding CD player. The climate control works as it should with good control. The AC blows cold, Lights all work well, along with turn signals, head lights, high beams, fog lights, brake lights, parking lights, license plate lights, etc. All Spare tire and jack components are intact and in excellent condition.
