I purchased this car a while back. It had an older 327 with a 350 trans in it that I pulled out and sold. I planned on pulling the body off the frame and doing some modifications to the frame (boxing it, modifying the rear crossmember to run a quickchange and a different front end set up) and having the top re-chopped with the windshield post laid back.....but, as it turns out, this is simply not the right time in my life for such a major project. Therefore I'd like to pass it on to somebody with the time and means to turn this car into what it should be. This vehicle has no title, I purchased it from a state that doesn't require a title for antique vehicles and it's never been registered in California.Even though I tried to make the description as complete as possible, I am sure I forgot something. I will post questions as they come in, so you can see what else was asked. Terms of sale: Please ask any and all questions (big or small) before placing a single bid. Study the pictures closely (request more if you want). I want no one "surprised" by anything. Please read all questions / answers I post at the bottom of the listing. Before bidding, think it over and discuss it with whom you must. Remember: most banks won't loan on something of this age, so please have funds secured before bidding. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! I don't have the time to fool around with non-paying bidders. I will expect whoever wins this auction to follow through with the transaction. If you have less than 10 feedback, please contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction end, through PayPal. The remainder is due within 14 days of auction end via cash or bank certified cashier's check (which must clear before release). Once paid in full, I can store free of charge, for as long as you need until pick-up. Come pick it up or, if you choose, I will work with the shipper of your choice. Arrangment and payment for shipping are your responsibility. I am open to "in person" inspection of the vehicle. It's not perfect. If you want perfection, look elsewhere.
