This is a 1974 Volkswagen Thing Hardtop with Tow Bar. It was originally Blue & White Alcapulco Edition. Original miles 39,279. In the late 1980's the vehicle had body work and was painted to match it's motorhome pull vehicle, cream with two tone brown stipes. Also at that time the seats were recovered in brown vented vinyl and the plastic was replaced in the windows. The hardtop and windows are in good condition. It was pulled from Ohio to South Carolina a couple of times a year and was then put in storage in 1993. We can get the motor started but will need carburetor work. It will also need the brakes gone through since the brake pedal goes to the floor. This vehicle does have the air condition package with the compressor missing. The drivers side front and rear have rusted floor boards showing some holes in the back corners near the battery. There is also misc and various rust spots on the outside body.
