Vehicle Detail

THERE IS NO OTHER K-5 BLAZER OR JIMMY IN THE COUNTRY!!! Great history, same owner since 1991 and NEVER restored, repainted or touched up. What you see in the pics are the real deal!! THE STORY: Originally, the Jimmy was build as an factory executive vehicle, it was based in the GM "bus and truck group" "management pool" in Pontiac, Michigan. The truck was driven for a year by a GM exec and then sold to Mike Goerges Pontiac/GMC in Omaha, Nebraska. The truck had roughly 7,000 miles at the time. Then the original owners bought it from the dealer. It's 1991 Over the years the Jimmy was used sparingly as a second car and always garaged and never smoked in. It was always well maintained and was treated to an easy life. It occasionally towed a small fishing boat. The truck was rarely driven in the winter which accounts for it's nearly rust free status!!! In 2003 the owners, now in their 70's parked it in their garage where it sat until a month ago. One of the owners is now in a nursing home. The fuel system was cleaned and the gas tank boiled. A new exhaust system was installed and the air conditioning was converted to R134. Cleaned and waxed, the pictures you see are the vehicle NOT touched up in any way!!! THE CONDITION: This is nothing short of a time capsule. 100% original there's never been any rust repaired...PERIOD. In the mid 90's, the drivers door was repaired due to a parking lot dent. The paint is all original with the exception of that door. Two areas of MINOR rust as pictured. One the size of a dime just behind the driver's door, and some corrosion in the hinge area of the tailgate. That's about it!! As you can see the underside was NOT undercoated and much of the factory markings are still visible. The hood and the front portion of the roof need to be repainted. GM factory paint/clear coat issue. I was going to repaint but I decided to show it this way so you can see the honest appearance of this truck!!! The interior is IMMACULATE and the pictures do not do it justice. The truck still has a newish smell...really!! I believe the tires are the originals. They actually have decent tread but they are 22 years old. If you plan to fly in and drive it home I can assist in getting a new set of tires. Oh..almost forgot, the back bumper is slightly tipped down on the driver's side and some door dings in the silver part of the paint. The truck starts, runs and drives as it should. NO KNOWN ISSUES!!! If you have ANY questions, feel free to call me anytime for an honest chat about this truck. And see my 100% positive feedback and what others say about my honesty.
