This is an excellent project car for a Mopar enthusist. I purchased it thinking I had time to restore it, but unfortunately I do not. The body is in incredible shape, especially considering it is 43 years old. The bottom of this car is as clean as the top. The only real rust damage is on the left front inner fender where the battery tray is located. Apparently the battery acid caused a fair amount of rust damage to that location and it's shown in the pictures. These panels are available new, so replacing it is not an issue. The interior is rough to say the least. The front seat is not original. The rear seat can be recovered. The left rear door panel is missing, and the left rear window regulator is bad. The dash trim needs a lot of work as well. See the pictures for a better description. The front left fender has a small dent shown in the pictures. The right front fender appears to have been repaired, probably due to a minor impact, as the trim ring on the right front grill is damaged/missing in the same location. This is shown in the pictures as well. The taillights are from a different year of Barracuda. I do have taillight housings for a 1969 that I will give the winner of the auction, but they will need restored. I do not have any correct lenses for them, but they are available in the aftermarket. All of the glass is in good shape except for the windshield which has several cracks. I was told that the car runs by the previous owner, but I have never attempted to start it. I was also told that the reverse does not work on the transmission. My intention was to replace the entire drivetrain with high performance parts, so the condition of the existing drivetrain was not of any concern to me. For the most part I think the pictures speak for themselves of the condition of the car in general. It is the perfect base to build a really great street rod, cruiser, or full restoration from. They aren't making any more of these so finding one in this condition is a rare find. This has never been driven in Ohio. It still has the California title and tags.
