RARE 1962 Starfire Convertible. I am re-listing car due to non payment Just about rust free, California car, I bought 3 years ago with the intentions of restoring her, but I have lost it's garage spot and it has been sitting outside for 7 months. Car is fully loaded with factory air conditioning, power windows, power vent windows, rebuilt Wonderbar radio with floor switch, Autrionic eye, speed warning, power antenna, dual exhausts, rebuilt carburetor, and many, many extra parts including trim from a parts car. The body is very presentable, but the interior needs work. The top motor works put the lines and/or pump leaks. Did I mention that a mess of extra parts goes with the car? Some NOS parts as well! Extra dashboard with all the controls, extra dash moldings, 3 extra radios, 1 am, 2 wonderbar which 1 is supposedly rebuilt. Extra Starfire fender and door, Extra slim Jim tranny, Extra set of Starfire stainless trim, a few sets of 62 spinner caps, some extra aluminum panels, extra Starfire/98 tailight panel, Extra bumpers to name a few things... I have changed the aluminum side panels on the doors and quarter panels, I have not done the front fenders yet. Reason for the change is the last owner did bodywork on them and painted them white... yuck! Also the driver's fender was changed at one point with a plain 88 fender with no trim holes, but I have a mint Starfire fender with all the factory holes for the moldings that goes with the car. I have the original California pink slip, I never registered (titled) the car in my name. The floor, trunk floor and frame are 100% rust free. The interior needs work, dash needs to be cleaned up and detailed, the rear seat bottom is torn. The car runs and drives, I have taken it on the highway ran great, the slim jim transmission shifts fine, the exhausts are good. Car is sold "as is" with no guarantees or warranties, buyer responsible for all transportation arrangements and costs.
