I have for your consideration an original 1974 Austin Mini! I am the first registered US owner of this vehicle, it was imported direct from England. The Mini has a decent glossy paint job and attracts lots of attention! The paint job is decent enough quality for a driver but is no where near show quality. This lttle car starts and drives well. I converted the fuse block from the english fuse block to an aftermarket American Blade fuse style block and fixed all the terminals with new connectors, this one modification solved so many silly problems that can leave you stranded or without working equipment! the car also has a nice JVC CD player that has been added to it with speakers installed under the rear seat without any cutting to the cars body. Simulated driving lights have been added to the car's front bumper and they really add to it's personality! Also a spare tire cover was built so you will not get your cargo dirty when you haul it in the trunk. This little car does wonderful on gas and has pleanty of power and pep. As with most of these cars in the English climate there is minor rust, the nice thing is that most of the rust is in the floor pans and is very small and easy to patch "see pics" . The other spot that looks as if there was some sort of repair is in the driver's side rocker panel and this repair has been painted over. I have tried to take pictures of any little thing that may be of concern in an effort to give an accurate description so please view them closely they are worth a thousand words. The body has some small dings here and there but is in overall good condition for a 1974. The carpet appears to be new and the seats are in pretty good shape but do have a couple cigerette burns from the previous owner. When i purchased the car I was told it had new tires, but when i recieved the car notice not a single tire was the same brand! Well this is appearently a common practice overseas from what I have been told from others who have purchased these little cars and had them imported? However the tire ride and drive well and they all have lots of tread and are all the same size and all have similar tread patterns, with this being the case I hated to waste them and buy new ones just so all would be the same brand so I left them alone. All the chrome trim and grill looks nearly perfect and all lights and electrical is currently working. This car is equipped with the 850 cc engine and has a 4 speed manual gear box, and it also has some nice looking MiniLife wheels 12 inch. With all that being said all I can say is this little car is great fun and a wonderful little driver that grabs loads of attention and turns most heads! Happy bidding and thanks for looking!
