The 240D is the most reliable vehicle that Mercedes ever built….you cannot hurt this car mechanically. They are a tank; built when cars were meant to last. The 240D combines the best of German diesel engineering with comfort, classic lines and safety. It corners and handles like a sports car, but has a strong, stable frame which is perfectly balanced. The diesel engine is designed for good MPG, therefore, it may seem underpowered to some. The original tan paint is faded but could be buffed out…no body rust or major dents (couple of dings). Excellent tread on all four tires. Interior fair/poor…leather seats good (back seat excellent). Original emergency safety kit and Tool kit are cool!!
