You are looking at an incredibly preserved 1968 Ford F100 short wheel base. This truck was bought new in Jasper, Texas and spent the next thirty three years in the dry texas climate before coming to Chicago in 2001. When the original owner died in 2001, a relative in Chicago inherited the truck and was brought to the Windy City and kept in a garage for the last eleven years. This truck is amazing, it still wears its original Lunar Green paint that is in very good condition, and its interior is 100 percent original and neat mint. The complete drivetrain is original and this truck runs and drives just like a new one. It has its original 6 cylinder with a three speed manual and air conditioning that blows ice cold. As you can tell from the pictures, this truck has had a very easy life and has not been a work truck, let alone even a daily driver. The tailgate opens and shuts like butter and the doors close with no effort. Truly a rare find. It comes with the original owners manual and still has the old Texas stickers in the windshield. Trucks of this vintage are very tough to find in original, near mint, low mile condition. I am offering this truck at no reserve, please do not bid unless you intend to buy.
