This is a very nice '63 Dodge model 440. I am the second owner and I just got it back on the road. I purchased it not too long ago from the grandson of the original owner who recently passed away. The car was not registered since 1983 and has an original documented 42,000 miles. This is a true low mileage car. The engine runs like new. Now all registration is current and it has a clear California title. This car is in remarkable shape for its age, everything works! Since I purchased it, it has been completely serviced: engine, transmission, rear end, brake fluid and power steering fluid have all been changed, all four wheels have new brakes and wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. The gas tank has been flushed out and new hoses, new fuel pump, carburetor has been rebuilt, new air cleaner and new tires, and a complete tune-up. The car drives like a dream, has a typewriter shift transmission 3-speed, and a 318 engine with an amazing amount of power! The car also has a brand new battery. The carpeting and upholstery will need to be replaced, the fabric is intact, but weathered from sitting. It has the original paint which is in relatively good shape and could probably be rubbed out, but if you want this for a show car it will need a new paint job. It is perfect for a daily driver.
