1948 Dodge Club Coupe - Overall condition for the age is average to good. The car has a good paint job with some very minor chips. Was painted about 7 years ago. The car is very solid.The car needs the interior redone. Most of the small things, like horn and gauges work. The chrome and the stainless are very good. There is one small glass break on the driver's side window. The keys work on doors and trucnk. I just had the carburater rebuilt and engine tuned up about 3 months ago. I also had the brakes worked on and adjusted, and as well as replaced some of the brake cylinders. The car has 28500 on the speedometer; I was told that that was correct, but I won't guarantee it. The engine runs real good and does not heat up or use any oil, and is quiet. The transmission also work good, as does the rear. The engine compartment is clean and was that way when I bought it 3 years ago. There is rust on the undercarriage, but no damage to the frame. However the rocker panels are bad and should be replaced. Front floor pans will also need some work. I have the new rockers and they will go with the purchase. I did get an estimate to replace the rockers and front pans; the estimate was $800 to $1000. Overall the body is very good condition and is an excellent car to restore. I am a collector and just need to get rid of some of the vehicles that I currently have. This is a set price auction and the price is firm.
