The purpose for me buying this truck a couple of weeks ago was to install a 5th wheel hitch to haul a 5th wheel camper I planned on buying. I decided not to buy this camper so I no longer have a purpose for this truck. I bought this truck from a guy in Kentucky, who owned it 6 years, and was very honest about everything involving the truck so I plan on doing the same. This is a well kept 2001 Dodge Ram Sport Pickup with extended quad cab and the 6 1/2' bed. This truck has a 5.9L engine 360, new automatic transmission (rebuilt with odometer at 106,979 and paperwork to verify repairs, also comes with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty that is transferrable, this transmission only has 263 miles on it), and four wheel drive. It is equipped with the power windows/door-locks/power heated mirrors, keyless remote start, tilt steering wheel, CD/Tape AM/FM stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. Truck is equip with an overhead console with digital information, such as compass, outside temp, average miles per gallon, ect. The truck has a full factory tow package and also has a B&W Goose Neck fifth wheel hitch installed. Also included are both set of keys and alarm/remotes, and the full set of owner manuals. This truck is in really great condition because it was not used as a work vehicle at all. There are 107,242 original miles and I have only put 185 miles on it since I have had it and I have taken it and got it serviced at a local shop in town and it runs great. I have the records of where the previous owner as well kept it serviced. I have just changed the oil, full synthetic Mobil 1, and put new dual exhaust with flow masters on it that sound great. Also took it yesterday and had the front end serviced and replaced some parts that overtime have needed to be replaced such as 2 axle joints (front), rear pinion seal Chrysler 9.25, change gear oil (Valvoline gear lube 85-140), front hub assembly, tie rod end at drivers side wheel, drag link end at pitman arm, replaced track bar and installed Max suspension leveling kit. Over $1,000.00 worth of parts and labor (have all receipts). The four wheel drive operates properly, I have personally had it checked with no grinding or funny noises when being engaged. The tires on the truck are Futura Dakota LT 285-75-R16 premium tires (pep boy) which are all showing good tread. The brakes and rotors on this truck are 4 months old.All of the power equipment and everything is working. had the air conditioning serviced when I purchased it and it is working great. It didn't need any freon and blows VERY cold air. There are no service or warning lights on this truck and it runs and drives great. The Burnt orange exterior paint has been really well maintained, and has a very glossy finish. There are only some of the normal nicks or imperfections mainly on the rear bumper, it has a dent at the corner which is hard to notice as shown in pictures. There is some rust at the bottom of the two front doors as shown in pictures and is only surface rust from being up North. The undercarriage is in great shape. The alloy wheels are clean and in great condition without any damage. There is a sliding rear window, and the bed has an OEM Dodge bed lining, which still looks good, and also has a tonneau cover on the bed that rolls back and is in great condition. The interior of the truck is crisp, clean, and in terrific condition. The seats and carpet are crisp and clean throughout the vehicle. All the interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in great condition without any cracks or damage on the door panels. This is a smoke free vehicle with no burn marks or odors. I have described this truck to the best of my ability for the length of time I have owned it and there are not any issues with the truck that I have not descibed to you.
