UP FOR SALEIS A VERY CLEAN 1996 VW PASSAT TDI DIESEL WAGON WITH 249K ON THE MILES. This vehicle is in a very good condition. It starts promptly in all weather, accelerates, idles and drives nicely. The clutch feels really good and the car drives really smooth and accelerates excellently. . All the lights work fine. All the mirrors and lenses are in good condition. No missing body parts etc. Super Reliable! AC blows cold and of course the heater works fine. Loaded with power door, locks, power steering, windows and sunroof. All the power controls works fine. It has a factory fitted AM/FM radio and cassette and they work perfectly. There are a couple of rust bubbles by the rear tire wells.(see pictures). Exterior paints are in excellent condition but also for the age of the car expect some dings and scratches and scrapes. Interior seats are excellent except a couple of tiny holes on the front seats.. Carpets are great condition despite not been cleaned but could still use some cleaning. All the gauges seems to work correctly. This is a passat wagon diesel that was only made for two years. This is a rare gem and don't be fooled by the mileage because these cars can go up to half a million miles.This car will serve the next fortunate owner for many years and many miles. Plenty of life left. Cheap, reliable and easy to maintain everyday transportation. These cars basically run forever, if properly maintained like this one. All the fluids are topped off.
