Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is my 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook. I got the car about 2 years ago with no motor or trans, and decided to put a new motor trans in it to make it my daily driver. I wish i could keep the car now but i have so many other projects going right now that i just have to get rid of some. The motor is a 360 mopar, it was pulled out of a 64 dodge dart but came from a mid seventies dodge truck. The motor runs real good and has more than enough power. To fit the motor we had to use the 64 dart gt cast iron headers. It has a 904 automatic transmission that is built to handle 600 horsepower. It has a 2800 stall converter, which really helps it get up and go. The rear end is stock with i believe 411 gears, since it was a factory overdrive car. All the brakes have been rebuilt and it stops really well, the ebrake had to be disconnected it since it was on the back of the transmission stock. The wheels are 1959 plymouth steelies with the 59 caps and nice hubcaps. The steering is very good The body is all stock and is straight except for the passenger rocker panel and quarter which has some dents, as shown in the picture. the car was painted satin black and looks very nice and "old school'" The grill is in nice condition. We have both bumpers but probably need to be chromed and the back is missing the brackets. The interior is done with original fabric the factor color. the seats were redone but the door panels have not, still in pretty good condition though. there is no headliner or carpet but that is easy to get done the real expensive part is done. There is no title for the car but I did get the title transfer paper work from the person who lost the title with his signature. It is very easy to get the title just get a vin verification from a police officer and take it into the dmv and you get a title in 2 weeks. If you have any questions please feel free to call at 8058019541 or email but I cant check it everyday. thank you
