******1986 4 dr.VW GOLF DIESEL******** This car is basically a one owner, my grandparent bought it BRAND NEW off showroom and it was willed to my father who gave it to me and at 6'8" I simply cant drive the car comfortably and would gladly keep it if I did. This is a very rare car, and non-existant in this condition, I personally drove this car and thats the miles per gallon I got, consistantly. My grand parents were old school dutch, my pap waxed his lawnmower and furnace, so that will give you an idea of how meticulous he maintained this car.it was washed and waxed constantly whether it had been used or not. It was not out in snow or rain, unless caught in it and was kept in a heated garage its entire life. The oil was changed every 90 days w/ synthetic like clockwork it only has only 130k on it, for a diesel thats just broken in, I have seen these with 250k many times.The clutch is great, interior is phenominal, this 1986 still looks n smells new. there is the very first bubble of rust forming over left rear wheel well and there is a dent on each fender by headlight,bought size of golfbalf if that, the garage did it with lift arms when I had an alignment done to it when I first got it This car is a 5 speed with A/C ,although the air needs to be charged. It also has 4 new tires, a cd player, and a new battery. I did auto glass for 13 years and these cars are known for rust around the windshield, quite bad and this car has NONE aound windshield. just the few spots I already explained. If you want a dependable car that will never die, save you a fortune in fuel, this is it. There are no odd sounds, knocks, shakes, shimmies of any kind, this is not only rare, but and in great shape, This car will easily pay for itself in a few months with the way fuel is going up.
