This is my enjoyment vehicle, garage kept, driven only in good weather, mainly to local gatherings/shows. I had this car for 2 years and enjoyed it a lot. I like the feel of a race car, how it handles curves, the sound of the motor. It feels great and is a people magnet, women, men, young and not so. This car is part of American history and has a soul. The car has new updated ignition wires, plugs, battery, brakes- all done 2 years ago when I got it. Tires have plenty threads on them. I also have a K&N filter and it goes with the car. AC is working on high blower only. Known issues are: ripped driver seat- see picture. Cracked hood and front bumper shell and driver side panel is mashed in (next to the left air vent)-see pictures. Trunk has visible rust-thru the sheet metal, under the carpet. I got the car with the described issues and it never bothered me to fix it. I decided to start the auction at $999 to let serious buyers have a good understanding of the presented value. This car just made a nice trip from Northern Michigan, about 200 miles, and every mile of the road was a fantastic experience for me. The car is a great buy for either a man or a woman, someone on a budget or someone who has the money and is looking for a toy..Or for someone who is in need of a reliable transportation.
