For sale is a low mileage 2001 Mercury Mountaineer Monterrey edition. This is Mercury's version of the Eddie Bauer for Ford. I am selling this SUV for the estate of my recently deceased uncle. I have the title in hand, and everything is legit. No scams here. This will be a "no reserve" auction, as I have lots more to do to finalize his affairs, and need to sell this ASAP. The 113000 miles are low for a 2001 vehicle. As far as I can tell having driven it a few times, it runs well. Transmission is smooth. Lots of power. Tires are in good shape. The leather shows normal signs of wear for an 11 year old vehicle. It has most options, power seats, power windows,sunroof, cd changer, etc. There are a few dings in the body, as shown in the pictures, mainly on the quarter panels. The Kelly blue book value on this vehicle in "fair" condition (their lowest grade) is $5620, and in "good" condition is $6345. I would grade this vehicle somewhere in between those two, according to their description. As you will see, the opening bid will be much lower, to aid in a quick sale. $500 non-refundable deposit required 2 days after auction ends.
