Manufactured by World Renowned FiberFab International Car is basically NEW with under 5000 original miles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Very desirable jet Black with a Red Interior and a performance drivetrain.The car has the following included: a custom built 1915 CC performance engine by Strictly VW of Irwindale, California with 041 heads, hi-rev valve springs, swivel feet valve adjusters, hi-performance cam, dual 40mm Weber carbuerators, four speed transmission, convertible top, car cover, red mats with full red carpeting, red marine naugahyde interior, authentic Porsche emblems, heater, Koni performance shock absorbers, cruise control, hall effect performance ignition, rare two-to-one performance exhaust and front disk brakes. The replica body sits on a modified 1977 VW Beetle frame. However, it was titled at the end of the buildup as a 1999 assembled vehicle to give you the tax breaks / registration breaks (check with your state). The title does state the model as a "55 Porsche Speedster" with a "Roadster" body style. The custom built performance motor is rated @100 horsepower and dyno test shows @70 horsepower at the rear wheels at @90 lbs of torque. This makes for a very responsive ride combined with the light Speedster body. A real kick to drive! Please take a look at the slide show for all the details. Vehicle has been meticulously maintained and serviced. Comes with all documentation including the original build sheets, manuals and receiptsJet black paint looks and shines as new, top & Interior are in excellent condition, tires and wheels like new, chrome / gold trim is all excellent. The top has only been up twice and I only have a trial fit picture of one of those events during the buildup. A flush-fit radio antenna is built in if a radio is in your future modifications. The front seats are not the original butt-pain versions but are modified 70's MG cushioned style that are comfortable during long open-air rides.
