Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a gorgeous 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. This is a real head turner, and a blast with the top down. The car was restored over 10 years ago and garage kept. It can sit for months and start on a dime, no loss of battery charge (the ignition system is truly a marvel...especially when you've owned other beetles that have trouble starting) The radio needs to be replaced, but the car comes equipped with Rockford Fosgate Highs, Mids and 6x9 in the rear. Overall the car is in great condition and will need someone who is willing to give it a little love and care. The front end has an adjustable beam and as you can see it really has a mean look lowered on the stock chrome wheels. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The motor and transmission are solid and very reliable On Jun-11-12 at 10:35:52 PDT, seller added the following information: img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/share/icons/embed/btn_geturs.gif" style="border:none;" />On Jun-15-12 at 14:43:42 PDT, seller added the following information: 06/15/2012 5:34 PM I have recieved several questions from locals and online bidders and have posted them below. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask: Q1: Is the 84,000 miles mention in the odometer details accurate? A2: The odometer states 184k miles. As this is a 1969 and has been restored, there is no real way to tell the exact mileage. I know the motor has been rebuilt and runs very strong. From the prior owners records, they assumed the motors had about 50k miles on it. Q2: What recent servicing have you done to the car? A2: I had the carbeurator rebuilt, changed the spark plug wire, distributor cap, rotor plug and distributor was rebuilt as well. Timing and carb tuning was done recently as well. Q3: What is the condition of the top? A3: There are no tears in the top and closes well. No need to replace at all. Q4: Is the title free and clear? Rebuilt? A4: Yes i have the title, and it is clear. No rebuilt title. Q5: What condition are the floor pans and rocker areas? A5: They are in great shape, and have been covered in POR 15. I will try and get some photos for your reference asap. Q6: What is the buy it now price? A6: I have set the bid to auction style so there is no buy it now. Thank you, and if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
