Vehicle Detail
2003 Honda Odyssey EX - One Owner Full set of service records including timing belt and water pump done at 104k. Truck has 150,301 well maintained miles. Electric sliding doors work fine. Tires are fair (2) and excellent (2). Brakes are very good and pass inspection. AC is cold. Strong motor - no noises, leaks, smoking or misfire. The tranny, however, is another story. No leaks and it shifts and performs well enough when cold. After 5 or 10 minutes of driving it begins to glitch a little and the "Check Engine" light comes on. Pronounced downshift and a longer than normal pause on the upshift. 10 more minutes and it feels like it goes into 'limp mode" (stays in second gear). If you shut the engine off and start it right back up again it will shift the gears (a little slippage). You can probably drive it home, but you should definately have a "plan B". This vehicle is going to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition. No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask - I Won't Answer You! Body is straight. Slight dent on passenger side quarter panel just over the wheel well (very minor). Hood has some paint chips and discoloration. Interior is in nice condition. No wear except on floor carpeting on driver side. Truck will look real nice with a good detailing job. Bid with confidence - not a bad truck. Since the "Check Engine" light is on, it will not pass NY State inspection. New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. Sorry, I don’t make the rules but as a used car dealer I must abide by them. Any questions call 516-228-1016 and leave a message if I’m not in. Please don’t wait until the last day or last few hours to contact me. Please speak clearly. I will pick you up at the airport, train or bus station. Winning bidder please leave a $300.00 deposit in PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close. If I don't receive the deposit within the 48 hours I will relist the car. Please plan on picking this vehicle up within 15 days of the auction close unless you have made prior arrangements with me before bidding. If the vehicle is left after 15 days your deposit becomes non-refundable and I will relist the vehicle. All vehicles that run and drive are driven at least 10 to 20 miles and usually 30 to 40 miles. I try to describe these vehicles to the best of my 35 years of experience. Our familiarity with these autos is limited to the miles we drive them. Please be aware of this when bidding. As always, if the winning bidder is not happy after road test and examination, I will cancel the sale and refund your deposit. “A bid on eBay is considered a contract, and you're obligated to purchase the item.” Final sale price is what you pay! (New York residents must pay sales tax and inspection fee when applicable.) There are no extra hidden fees!!! Good luck and thanks for looking!
