This 1986 truck is a rare one that has some battle scars to prove its toughness and strength. Frame is straight and strong, but the body is in need of serious body work due to rust (part of drivers floor board has rusted out, as well as rust damage in all qtr. panels, and door areas. Engine (5.2L - 318-V8 - replaced app. 6 yrs. ago) as well as the 904 transmission and rear end are strong, but engine is in need of a new carb (runs a little rich and can tend to choke engine at times - also starts to cut out at around 50 mph). Complete wiring harness rebuilt 2 yrs. ago. All electrical items work except for cruise and A/C. Mileage is over 100,000 miles but I do not know the total mileage as speedometer was broke for years (fixed now). EXTRAS - Camper shell, truck rear dual air bags for heavy hauling, heavy duty hitch w/on board brake system for trailer pulling, dual chrome pipes, tinted windows in cab and in camper shell, AR wheels with large 33's, CD/radio player along with original Chrysler radio/cassette player, and Dodge advertising pamphlet of 86 Dodge truck. This was a real looker in its day, and still has a great stance and mean look to it. Perfect vehicle for the mechanically inclined person with time, some money, and work. Hate to let it go, but it is just not getting the attention in needs and deserves.
