I hate to part with this car, but I just can't afford to finish the work on it. It runs, but is in need of a tune-up as it hasn't been driven in about 3 years. The majority of the work left is the interior, re-wiring the sound system & such (the car's wiring is fine), body work, and paint.It is an automatic and has a 351 Windsor engine. 48,793.1 miles on the odometer. The title says rebuilt salvage-loss unknown. Also included are the 5 1972 Shop Manuals, the 1972 Chilton Manual, and the Haynes Repair Manual. Here is a list of items that I have replaced or had repaired: New Aluminum gas tank and float. New brakes. Replaced the front spindles and there are 2 more in the trunk from a '72 Cougar (rusty, but usable). Front steering system has been replaced. Had the frame pulled/straightened. Ignition switch. Door locks. Alternator. Heater Core. Voltage Regulator. Overhaul on the FMX Transmission. Repaired Exhaust. I was driving the car as my primary means of transportation when I hit a truck's wheel that was lying in the middle of the right hand lane where Belknap turns into 121. It damaged the steering and bent the frame, hence the frame & steering work done. As it was my only vehicle and I couldn't afford to get all the work done at once, I ended up buying another vehicle from a tote-the-note. I put money into the Mustang when I could, but haven't been able to since I started buying my house.As I say, I hate to part with it, but I can't stand to see it not get the work it needs to be the beauty it deserves to be.
