Because of physical limitations, I am unable to complete the restoration on this car. It was originally a rust-free AZ coupe which I had converted to a fastback by Drake Customs, Lake Havasu, AZ. It is in no sense a "project." It runs and drives and is licensed and insured. It needs glass (included), seats (included) and interior (some included). It appears that I am headed for artificial knee(s) and the restoration has come to a stop. What has been done: - professionally-built 351 Windsor (bearings, surfaced, honed, rings, cam, crank turned, push rods, stainless bolt set), Piston Service, Anacortes, WA. - Trick Flow aluminum heads - T-5 Borg-Warner 5-speed, rebuilt to "Z" specs - Edelbrock 1405 carb, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock "signature" valve covers - Hedman headers, Jet Hot ceramic coating, inside and out - March aluminum pulley system - Ron Morris adjestable motor mounts - 3-row aluminum radiator - delta-40 Magnaflow exhaust system - Laurel Mountain shock tower brace - rebuilt 8 inch 3.55 differential - QA-1 coilover suspension (front) - 165 leaf springs (rear) - KYB shocks (rear) - Direct Fit power disc brakes, front and rear, (Ford components) - Randall's Rack power rack-and-pinion steering - American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels, 15x7 - Goodyear Eagle GT 215/65R-15 - Mustang Grabber Blue paint (2011 color) with White stripes - new bumpers, brackets, trim, lenses - custom aluminum grille, black powdercoat, Billet Art - new 8 gallon tank, 3/8th steel fuel line - recovered front seats, new foam - Optima red-top battery What is included with the car: (N= new, U= used) - windshield with rubber (N) - rear window with rubber (N) - side glass, frames, includes windwings (N) - rear fold-down seat (U) , nice condition but trim painted black (no idea why) - instrument cluster (U), new face and lenses (N) - heater/defroster contrals and cables (U) but (N) knobs - left ventilator box with cable (U) - trapdoor and hardware (N) - trapdoor and rear seat latches (N) - door handles (N) - upper and lower rear fiberglass interior panels (U), need paint - dash cover (N) - glove box door, hinges (U), interior box (N) - oil temp, oil pres, water temp instruments (N), radio-delete console (N) - mini-tach (N), goes in place of clock - Grant steering wheel and hub (N) - California car cover (inside dust cover, not weatherproof) I have receipts for $44,000 (car, drivetrain, conversion, parts, paint). It would take that to build to this point. I would like to recover around half, if possible. I can e-mail more pictures or take any that you want.
