1956 Ford F-100

I have had this truck in my driveway for 6 years and its time to sell it. This is a badass - old school build that looks and sounds mean. Engine is a 500 Cu In Caddy with 750 holly, custom headers, performance ignition, edelbrock intake and a street/strip cam. Front suspension is off of a late 60's camaro or similar GM car with new willwood brake calipers. Mickey Thomson tires all around with big ass 18" in the back tucked away under the fender wells. Rear end has leaf suspension and has a narrowed ford 9" that I had a third member built by Currie racing with with tru-loc posi traction and 3.90 gear. Body is tubbed, seriously chopped and the bed tilts from hinges at the rear to get to the wheels and such. Tilt steering wheel, on dash tach. Tranny has a high speed stall speed converter and a shift kit of some kind - I am not sure what it is but it hooks up hard. Custom aluminum radiator, Weld racing rims all around and 8 ga Fuel cell. This truck has just not had the love it needs. It the last 10 years I have owned it I am sure it has not been more than 200 miles total. It starts great, sounds mean, does not burn oil but the engine is not performing like it did and I have not dug in to figure out why. It just acts like its running at 70 percent under throttle. I can tell you that when it runs right it frickin scoots and burns up these big meats through 3rd gear easily! The paint is older and the flames and pin striping look killer. Some of the areas in the black are showing laquer check and chipping. There are a few blems that a decent paint guy could fix in no time including a scuff on the left rear fender where my mechanic clipped it getting it on a trailer and a bit in the front left where because its so low it catches on occasion. The truck has an obviously chopped '56 cab and '56 front grill but is in fact registered as a '53. Title is clean. In truth I would rather see it goto somebody who can spend more time with it than I have. This is listed as no reserve. The top has been chopped properly including channeling, uses real glass and maintains the drip edge. I have glass for both doors and they have been cut to fit but not mounted.
