I have here a very nice 1999 mercury grand marquis, I have 6 cars and insurance is to expensive. I hate to let it go but this is the car that I use the least because it is the nicest and all I do is work and I dont want to get it greasy as I am a mechanic. I own a auto repair shop here in Youngstown, Davis Auto Repair and as you might guess, the best person to buy a car from would be a mechanic. This is what I have done to the car and i can prove it with every receipt. New rotors, all 4 wheels New brakes, all 4 wheels new front calipers new spark plugs new shocks all 4 wheels 4 new tires, they have about 10,000 miles on them. new anti-rollbar/torsion bars bushings, front and back oil and filter were just changed last week transmission fluid and filter were changed last week. new passenger side outer tie rod end. new serpentine belt I am sure there are things I have changed that I have forgotten. You see, if the car has the slightest squeak or rattle or is not perfect it drives me crazy. I have a full service shop, two lifts ect and i am a ase mechanic plus I have mechanics that work for me, so I get my parts at a really deep discount and i don't have to pay high labor rates to change them. I also have a super nice 1994 Lincoln Town Car that I am going to be listing on here. The town car has only 100,000 miles on it and is about perfect, this Mercury has 135,000 miles on it. And if you know anything about full size fords, they were built to last, i have seen them with over 300,000 miles on them. So, I am listing this car, tomorrow i will be listing the Lincoln, neither I want to sell, but when one sells, I will be removing the other one. I have a pickup truck I use to haul used motors and transmissions in for when I have a customer that has hired me to change it for them, i use this truck to haul them from the junk yard, so I cannot sell it. I have a mini van that everyone wants but my wife uses it in her business, I also have a 2012 ford fiesta and a 2001 ford focus, again, she uses these for her business, she has employees in them driving them, so I cannot sell these. So, you see I have to get the cars I own down to 5 cars to get the best insurance rate. This car looks and runs like a brand new car, everything works as it should. I have 2 keys for it as well as a fob/remote. The car is in great condition. Has ice cold A/C. The one and only problem is the passenger side mirror is cracked pretty good, you can still see out of it but it is cracked and who ever buys it, if they buy another mirror, junkyard $20.00 I will install it for free. You probably would never notice it, but I changed the front seats out of one that had some super nice seats, same color as the back seats but just a little darker grey. I changed them because i already had them and they are just nicer, and they have the mercury logo in them. I also have the original seats out of the car that goes with the car if you would want them. I love this car, but with work, driving my work truck, I just never drive it and if we go out, the wife always wants to take her brand new car. To make the deal even better. For the first year I will sell the new owner auto parts at a great discount, usually about 30% cheaper than you would pay if you walked into the parts store, plus, I will provide repair labor at half price, not just on this car but any car they own, as long as the car that needs the repair is in their name, not for every friend or relative they have. I seriously doupt that you will need to have any work done on this car for a very, very long time. And, on this car, I will provide free oil changes and tire rotations for 1 year. I would advise, as i advise all my customers to change their oil every 3000 miles. Oil is the life of the car. As I said, I have two racks, lifts, and if the person that wants to buy this car wants to inspect underneath this car, I will be more than glad to raise it in the air for inspection, there is no rust at all on the car, or at least that I can find with it. We will be more than glad to pull all the tires off the car and show you all the new parts, rotors, brakes, shocks etc... Plus I will gladly show you all the receipts.
