Vehicle Detail

Well I'm sure no expert on TR-6's, but I acquired a pair of these cars from an elderly man who has terminal cancer and can no longer pursue his plans he had for this retirement project. I have the other listed on E-bay as well. See item number 160811591400 This car is what I call a "barn find". It has sat idle and in storage for 6-10 years. First I will list the minuses as I see them... This car is very dirty and just how I received it. It's sure not perfect, and won't win any beauty contests. It will need whatever sitting idle that long would dictate. (battery, tune up, fresh fuel, etc). I believe everything on the car is original (and old). This car was running and driving good when last parked. Now I will list some its pluses... This car has just 60,882 original miles on it. You will not find a more rust free car anywhere. It's 99.9 % rust free. Any rust it may have, will be next to none. Although not perfect, the body is excellent, and extremely straight. It has never been wrecked. It still has the original paint. It also has a roll bar, and the original AM/FM radio. I also have the "top cover", and the hardware, and door panel for the pasanger side door as well as the factory owners manual. If I do not sell this car as-is, my mechanic friend, has agreed to service it and get it running again for me. Then I will re-list it accordingly. This TR-6 would make a nice daily driver, or better yet could be an all out restoration project. Theese cars are coming into their own and becoming quite collectable I am told. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. I honestly can't imagine finding a lower mileage, or more original and un-molested, 1971 TR-6 like this for the price. Much less fingding one with almost zero rust issues. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was, when it came my way. I think that whom ever buys this car, will be elated with it, but those are just my thoughts. I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have it up and going again in fairly short order. My opening bid is 3,500 with no reserve. This car is over 40 years old and I am selling it as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal is required within 48 hours of auction's end. PayPal is acceptable for the deposit only. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are an out of the states buyer, I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment. Thank you for considering my auction, and Good luck bidding!
