Let me start this ad out by saying, this car needs TOTAL RESTORATION and that means paint and body work, interior, motor and trans rebuilt, tires, front end rebuilt and so on and so on. It just depends how much money somebody wants to spend. Up for sale is a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am that needs total restoration. We will start out with the body. Paint is no good. The body is fairly straight, does have some small dents and dings. It does have some rust problems, some rust in left quarter just above the top of the tire ( left quarter appears to have been repaired before) right quarter has some rust on the lower bottom behind the tire. Some rust in both sides on the cowl panel. Floors will need some work I do see some rust on drivers side front and back and also front and back on right side ( carpet still in car so it is hard to tell) There is some rust in the battery tray area such as inner fender and radiator support. Trunk deck has some rust on bottom side under the spoiler. Hood is in good shape. Doors look ok ( they do sag) Front fenders appear to be ok. It will need a new drivers side door glass (broken) and windshield is cracked. Probably is few other rusted spots areas here and there. Interior appears to be all there but will need to be replaced it is old and dirty. It will need a dash pad. There is not a motor in the car. Motor that comes with the car is non matching number Pontiac 400 ( best I can tell it is a 1973 model. The motor is locked up ( that means it will not turn over) I do not have any of the air condition parts for this car, no exhaust manifolds, no radiator. What you see in the pics, is what you will get. Tires are no good, Factory Pontiac rims the rubber outside is cracked. Frame appears to be in good shape, just surface rust, rear frame rails appear to be in good shape. Transmission is in the car and will need rebuilding ( appears to be a turbo 350) There is a drive shaft with the car. Gas tank will probably need to be replaced. It's old You get the idea what I'm talking about this car NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION. I can not describe everything that might be wrong with this car.
