I am selling a one owner Nissan Maxima that is in good mechanical condition but has some body damaged as described. Sold as-is. I am describing as best I can but if you have any questions, just ask and I will give you an answer or my opinion. This vehicle has some body damage on the hood and front spoiler (see pictures). The front spoiler/grill area is not attached with orginal hardware. The passenger side front headlamp works but is damaged on the stem that it screws into the body. The passenger side mirror is broken and currently held in place with electrical tape. I could not get a good picture of this. As is, it is functional and you can not really tell unless you really look closely. Other than the front end damage, except for a dent on the hood (picture attached) and some paint starting to chip on the rear spoiler the body is pretty straight and paint in really decent shape for it's age. The interior of the vehicle is fair. I did not see any holes in the seats but there are some stains and the interior needs a good a thorough detailing. There is a rip on the driver side arm rest and the storage compartment between the seats lid is damaged and not working correctly. Mechanically, the engine is still very strong and no indication of using oil or having any leaks. Air conditioner works and blows cold air although could probably use a little charge. All of the electrically components (windows,cruise, radio, etc) work as near as I can tell. The windows have some tinting that is starting to wear especially on the drivers side front window. I will replace the battery prior to sale closing as the battery is not holding a good charge. Tires are in overall good condition. One or two of the tires has almost no wear on them. The other two are probably 50% right now. This was our family personal car for several years and then one of my sons drove it during high school and college. It has not had a lot of miles put on it in the last several years and I am tired of paying insurance on it. If the bid brings salvage value, I will sell it. Otherwise, it is going to the salvage yard in a few weeks. If someone was looking for an economical, solid car that could be fixed up for many more years of service you are not going to get a better vehicle cheaper. Mechanically, I trust this car to get in it today and take a fairly long trip. Outside of the front end damage, this is a pretty good looking car. If you wanted a fixer upper, you could replace the hood and front spoiler with salvage yard or OEM parts relatively cheaply and the car would really look pretty good. The headlight is not going to set in there correctly unless you replace it. If you bid on this car, be ready to buy it. I expect a $ 500 deposit through Paypal within 72 hours of auction close with the balance due upon pickup. Local pickup only. If you want to ship this car then you will be responsible for arranging shipping and working out a time when we can load it on their trailer. I will try to accomodate as best I can. The car is located in Stillwater, OK. I am there more on the weekends and it is easy to arrange pickup on the weekends. During the week, we might be able to work something out if I have enough notice.
