1932 Ford Roadster. This is a well constructed traditional hot rod. Original Henry Ford, 30 roadster body on an original 1932 Ford frame. This hot rod is powered by a 1957 Thunderbird motor, a 312 cubic inch Y Block. The Edelbrock intake is topped with three deuces, all being large number 97 Stromberg's rebuilt. The buckhorn headers lead to a custom exhaust, fabricated from a drive shaft from a 1936 Ford to achieve the cone shape.The transmission is a post 1939 Ford top loader. A Winters quick change rear end is equipped with the original Ford bells and torque tube. The hydraulic brakes on all four wheels are Lincoln style with Buick drums in the front. The original cowl gas tank is used leaving the rumble seat intact. This car comes with a soft top, which fits perfectly. An original 1941 Ford dash was cut down to make it fit and looks great. All gauges work, including a vintage Sun tachometer. The stearing box is a rebuilt 1955 F-100. All mechanical systems including the engine have been completely rebuilt and are in perfect order. The roadster's body's original Washington blue finish was painted over with black a long time ago. This gives stock-car unique character. All four wheels are four inch wide,16 inchSteelies which have been trued and run correctly. The tires are Firestones from Coker and are 17.5 in the rear and 4.75 in the front.
