Vehicle Detail

I am listing my 1967 Mustang GT 500 KR Shebly Convertible. The car is a very nice tribute to the only 1 Shelby GT 500 Convertible ever made. That particular car is worth around 3 Million so you can get the carI at a fraction of that cost. This car was nicely done with many of the correct Shelby parts. The car has the correct taillights, molded Shelby Trunk lid, Fiberglass Shelby hood, Shelby sill plates, Correct Hurst GT 500 KR, Shelby Cobra Snake gas cap, All Shelby emblems, Shelby center lights, Convertible Shelby roll bar, Shelby interior emblems, Shelby Side Scoop, and I also added some brand new Coy's Shelby style 17 inch rims and new tires to keep the Shelby appearance to the car. The car has a great bright red paint with white stripes and tan interior with a white convertible top. The car has a great rust free body. I have not seen any rust issues any where on the car. The underside, frame trunk etc are in great shape. I know some of these cars have rust problems and I see none on this car.I am no body expert but the car looks good to me. I also believe the car has all the original panels. I invite anyone to come look at the car and inspect it for themselves. The car is powered by a newer mustang GT 5.0 motor and has a matching 5 speed transmission which makes the car a blast to drive and great out on the highway. All the chrome and glass are nice on the car as well. I just had new regulators put in for the back windows to operate properly. The car has a manual white top that is in good shape. It is very easy to put up and down with one person. The interior is a tan leather and the carpet is tan as well. The car also has a CD player that works great as well. The only things I am aware of that dont work are the fan motor isn't blowing currently. Most of the gauges are working like gas and the speedo but the last time I drove the car the speedo was jumping some might be that small plastic gear but it moves. Also I think the in dash tempature and Volt gauges are not working but it has after market guages that do work in place of the in dash ones. The only other item I thought about changing is the front seats are showing some wear. They are no holes or tears just showing some wear. I couldnt decide what I wanted to do if I wanted to recover them which are out of a newer car and are very comfortable and recline or put the original style seats back in the car. It isnt a major deal so I have left them alone. I have also had the driveshaft worked on to get it to the correct size, painted and balanced to fit the newer drivetrain. The car is a blast to drive it has plenty of power and sounds great. This car gets attention where ever you would drive it. The car also has power steering. This is a great car that I probably should just keep but I have a chance to buy back a car I use to own so I will see how it goes with the auction. If I don't sell it that is fine also. I dont think anyone will be disappointed with this car I have really enjoyed the car. If you have any questions please email me. I will probably list a few other of my cars in my collection such as a 1975 Black and Gold Trans Am, 1967 Corvette Numbers matching 350 with 4 speed, 1973 RT Challenger 440 Sublime Green, A one owner amazingly restored 1969 Firebird Convertible rare factory green top and my super rare real 1967 Z-28 Camaro. This car is being sold as is with no warranties or guarantees. Please come and inspect the car or send someone to that is fine with me. To be fair to all bidders please bid if you have the funds available and your wife's permission. The winning bidder is expecting to pay for the car in full. A 500.00 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment is expected within 7 days or sooner. I have described the car to the best of my ability and it is up to you to come view the car to see if it is what you are looking for so feel free to come and look at the car. It is a great car that is a great tribute to the late Mr Shelby who created this great classic muscle cars. So please bid with confidence and let me know if you need anymore pictures or information. I do know of some shipping connections to help you get the car shipped to you if you need assistance in that area. Thanks for viewing my auction.
