Listed is a 1979 MGB that is truly a very nice car. From the flawless red paint to the attention to detail and performance under the hood you will not be disappointed. Absolutely no rust or body damage. All work has been done in the last four years including the exterior paint stripped and resprayed to a high gloss red finish. Under the hood was disassembled and repainted with all parts cleaned or replaced and detailed. Trunk was prepped and repainted as well. The undercarriage has been painted a hard gloss black for a very lasting and durable finish. Interior carpet is new. Seats have been redone in leather with new seat padding. Radio is new and includes cd player with speakers mounted in back as shown in the pictures. Windshield glass is new as well as all the rubber around the windshield and doors, trunk seal and hood seal. Convertible top is in nice condition with rear glass clear. Convertible boot is included. The engine has been removed and rebuilt including new 0.040 pistons 8.8:1 shallow dish, camshaft bearings, new 65-71 camshaft above lifters for increase performance, new oil pump, reground forged crankshaft0.020/0.020 with bearings, new larger intake valves and new exhaust valves with stellite seats for unleaded gas, new valve guides and triple angle valve job. Surface head for increased compression and trueness. Removed oil gallery plugs and boil block, deck block surface, replaced all gaskets, oil gallery plugs and hardware. Intake system has been converted to duel HIF 1 1/2" carbs from a 1973-74 MGB. They have been rebuilt with new gaskets, new needle and seats, new metering needles, new throttle shaft, choke and accelerator cable. Exhaust is performance oriented with a performance Stainless Steel LCB Header into a matching exhaust system for a deep, pleasant tone with dyno tested performance too boot. Transmission shifts smoothly with hydraulics and clutch assembly new. Flywheel has been resurfaced for a smooth action upon release. Wheels are the 8 spoke alloy wheels with the tires in very nice condition. You will not be disappointed with the condition, appearance and drivability of this car. Usually pictures are a good way to hide flaws but they really don't do justice to the overall quality and detail of a really nice MGB.
