Vehicle Detail
EDIT - The AC is fixed and blowing cold again!! Yay!!! It is time not to have 5 vehicles at the house so the SVO is for sale. I really enjoyed this car, and I am reluctant to get rid of it especially since I have replaced/upgraded every part that has EVER given me any trouble. What you get: 1986 Mustang SVO 127695 miles Two sets of SVO wheels, one set polished with Azenis RT 615's and one set of unpolished wheels. The paint is showing the car has been driven regularly, but it still shines up nice and fun on cruises, events, etc. The interior is in very good shape overall but the dash did crack from the TX heat and the driver's seat has a little wear. The steering wheel and horn pad are new. Engine has been freshened up and World Class T5 transmission rebuilt at the same time (over last summer/fall) (both out of a 1987Turbo Coupe) Front suspension has been upgraded to Maximum Motorsport A-arms (does away with impossible to find SVO balljoints) and double adjustable Koni coil overs with MM caster/camber plates. Front brakes include new MM SVO calipers, Hawk HB125F.650 pads, stainless steel braided lines DOT approved Earl's, and new SVO rotors. The rear has been upgraded to a welded tube 8.8 with 31 spline Moser axles, Ford Motorsports Torsen differential, backing plate, new rotors, Porterfield brakes, SVO rebuilt rear calipers from NAPA, new SVO rotors, braided stainless DOT approved Earl's brake lines. The rear suspension is Steeda control arms and coil springs. The front and rear have been tied together with welded in sub-frame connectors. The AC components include a new compressor, new clutch/pulley assembly, condenser, drier, high pressure line w/orifice tube. The AC blows cold. The radiator is a repaired BeCool unit out of my race car with a Lincoln Mark VIII fan assembly with DC Controls circuit controlling this circuit The build sheet is still under the carpet. The charging system is a 3G 130A alternator The battery is no longer the impossible to find SVO European style battery. It currently has the same as 1983 - 2002+ Also included is a box or rare, difficult to find parts like the passenger corner light assembly. On May-20-12 at 17:11:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Available for questions up until the day of the auction end, please don't wait until the last minute. If you live locally please send me a message to set up a time to view the car.
