1966 Volvo P-1800

Well I'm sure no expert on Volvo's, but a guy I know, has had this P-1800, for over 20 years. He had big plans for it, but he never got to them, so I ended up with it. It has just sat idle, and under a tree for the last 6 or 7 years. Here's what I know... Years ago, someone bonded for a lost title, and I think they mixed up the chassis number with the V.I.N.number. Either way I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. The actual vin # is 18345VF, which makes it a 1966 with dual carbs and high compression engine and with overdrive. The previous owner thinks that the engine is a B-20. It has a spare head and carburators in the trunk. This car is filthy dirty and is just how I acquired it. It was running fine when last driven. This car is 46 years old and being sold as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disapointed in any way. My opening bid is $2,500 with no reserve. The trunk, floors, and most of the car is not verry rusty. This car is not rusty like others its age. Whatever rust it has is fairly minimal overall. It's not perfect, but I'm sure someone more mechanical than myself could have it up and going again in fairly short order. It could be a neat restoration project, or perhaps a neat daily driver. If it does not sell as-is, my mechanic said that he will get it up and running for me, and I will re-list it that way. I can't imagine finding a better P-1800 for the price, but that's just my thoughts Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company.
