Automatic This 2002 Mercedes SL500 offers a great combination of luxury, sport, and open-air touring. It comes with a full slate of comfort and convenience features. Factory options include the $1890 SL2 package (CD Changer, Heated Seats and Xenon Headlamps). The AMG Sport package came standard in 2002, the final year for this design. It is in very good condition inside and out, and it runs and drives great. This exterior is in very, very good shape with no notable dents or dings. The paint shines like new all around. The Carfax report shows an accident with "slight" damage to the rear back in 03/07. Whatever the problem was, we can't find any sign of it at all. The bumper and tail lights are showing no signs of there ever having been a problem. You can see the Carfax report by clicking here (Adobe Acrobat reader required). Exterior features include the AMG Sport side skirts and front fascia, fog lamps and AMG alloy wheels. The top is fully automatic - just a touch of a switch raises or lowers it. No boots or latches to mess with. This car also has a power roll bar. The hard top is also with the car, and also in very good shape. The seats are leather, and they are in excellent condition with no holes, cuts or tears. The dash and carpets are in very good shape. Both front seats have power controls with memory. Both front seats are also individually heated. This SL has some nice features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Power tilt & telescopic wheel; Cruise control; Cold auto air conditioning, and more. This car has a BOSE AM/FM/Cassette stereo with a CD changer in the trunk. Safety features include dual air bags, side air bags, ABS and ESP. The trunk is clean, just like the rest of the car. Floor mats, a front license plate bracket, the wind screen, and its case are all with the car. This 5.0 liter V8 runs very well. Its rated at 302 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. It is smooth and responsive. Current mileage on the car is 60,318. Carfax shows accurate mileage. This car may driven, so mileage may be a little higher by the time the auction is over. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals.
