Up for bid is my 1970 442 post coupe, stock numbers matching 455 engine, four speed manual trans., 3.91 posi (trans. and rear end are not orignal to the car). This car runs and drives excellent! Also, it came from the factory in a great muscle car color....black! This is a plain jane, bench seat, no A/C, manual drum brakes car with steelies and pie pan hubcaps which is different than most Oldsmobiles. It does have power steering and a sport steering wheel. There IS rust behind both of the back wheels, trunk lid, behind the back bumper where the trunk closes and along the bottom of the driver's door (a spare door will come with the car). Also, there is some surface rust on the hood. The frame, floor pans, trunk floor and behind the front wheels are all solid. The back tires need replacing because they are old. It needs a headliner, as well as the radio, speedometer, horn and wipers do not work. I have the owner's manual and broadcast card. This car has a beautiful stock-sounding idle. Be sure to ask about any other details I may have forgotten. This car is being advertised in other places, so I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time.
