This will be the 302nd car we have sold on eBay! Not to mention the 109 boats and 89 Motorcycles. We have a strong background with vehicles and we NEVER misrepresent anything. Please read carefully and call to ask questions. I will describe in detail what I see. I may note more issues than other vehicles but I would rather someone be impressed as opposed to disappointed. I am starting with an EXTREMELY fair opening bid! I don't expect this Mercedes-Benz 300 D Turbo Diesel to last the full 7 days and I will do what I can to ensure it does not! What a wonderful opportunity to own one of the surviviors! This Mercedes has a few issues that I want to point out right away. One of the first things I want to point out is that it shifts when is supposed to and the motor revs up and is strong without noise taps smoke or rattles. I will say that it is slow taking off unless you stomp the gas pedal. Then she shifts out and gets up to around 90MPH. She will cruise all day at 80 and its quite a cool comfortable ride. The interior is beautiful as is the paint. The AC is ICE COLD. I was told that the Mercedes may need a valve adjustment or a vacuum line may be bad. I do not know. I will have her looked at if the car does not sell at the LOW and Fair reserve set. I purchased the car through an auction house from an estate. It has all 3 factory keys and leather pouches, ithas manuals and tools. The spare is bad but the trunk area is clean as is every part of the car. The original color was Tan but it was professionally painted Navy Blue. The body is straight as an arrow with almost zero rust. There is one spot on the lower right part of the windshield that has a bubble. I took a pic but its small so hard to notice. I feel the car will make a road trip however would prefer that someone have it gone through before going cross country. The odometer only clocks mileage at times so the miles are inaccurate . There are no cracks in the dash and there are extra rubber matts. These cars are iconic and the 1985 is the most desirable year due to gearing and a few other reasons Im told.
